Terms & Conditions

Found Skin NZ Effective Date: April 17, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully. By booking a service, purchasing a product, or entering a membership with Found Skin ("we", "us", or "our"), located at 65 Patterson St, Mt Maunganui, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.  General

General

These Terms govern the relationship between Found Skin and its clients. We operate in accordance with New Zealand law, including the Privacy Act 2020 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

2.  Bookings & Appointments

Bookings
  • Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and are only finalized once confirmed by Found Skin via our booking platform (Fresha).

  • Securing Appointments: To protect our schedule, a valid credit/debit card must be held on file, or a deposit (typically 50%) paid at the time of booking for specific services.

  • Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual at our discretion, particularly regarding health and safety concerns or inappropriate conduct.

  • Punctuality: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment duration to respect the next client’s booking, or a requirement to reschedule.

3.  Cancellation & No-Show Policy​

Cancellation Policy
  • Notice Period: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time may incur a fee of up to 30% of the scheduled treatment cost.

  • No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit or a charge of up to 30% of the service fee to the card on file.

  • Consultations: "Free" or discounted consultations require a $30 booking fee to secure the slot. This fee is non-refundable for no-shows but is fully redeemable against your first treatment or product purchase.

  • Consultation Requirement: Certain advanced treatments require a prior consultation.

  • Professional Care: While we provide services with reasonable care and skill, treatment results vary between individuals. We do not guarantee specific aesthetic outcomes.

  • Client Disclosure: You must disclose all relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and skin conditions. Found Skin is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from non-disclosure.

  • Aftercare: Post-treatment instructions must be followed strictly. Failure to do so may compromise results and safety.

5.  Membership Terms

Membership Terms
  • Commitment: Memberships require a minimum commitment period of three (3) months.

  • Cancellation: Following the minimum period, one month’s written notice is required to cancel.

  • Payments: Membership fees are non-refundable and do not roll over unless specified. We recommend setting up these payments via Direct Debit rather than third-party finance providers.

  • Modifications: Found Skin reserves the right to adjust membership tiers and pricing with reasonable notice to active members

6.  Payment & Pricing

  • Currency: All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST.

  • Payment Methods: We accept EFTPOS, Credit/Debit cards via Fresha, and Bank Transfers.

  • Afterpay: Afterpay is available for high-value treatments, packages, and product purchases. Afterpay is not accepted for recurring membership payments.

  • Price Changes: Prices are subject to change; however, the price quoted at the time of booking will be honored for that specific session.

7.  Refund Policy

Refund Policy
  • Services: In accordance with the CGA, refunds are not provided for "change of mind" on services already performed. If a service is found to be faulty, we will remedy, replace, or refund as required by law.

  • Products: Unopened products in original condition may be returned within 14 days for a store credit or refund, subject to a 10% restocking fee.

  • Packages: If a treatment package is cancelled early, used sessions will be back-dated and charged at the full single-session rate before any remaining balance is credited.

8.  Product Deliveries

Product Deliveries

After ordering your oil(s) online, you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details. 

  • Orders under $70 (including GST) have a flat rate of $8.00 (urban/standard delivery) or $11.00 (rural delivery) and are sent via NZ Post Courier

  • Receive FREE delivery on orders over $70 (including GST)

  • Couriers are sent Monday-Friday only

  • All orders fully trackable with NZ Post tracking codes

Gift Vouchers

9.  Gift Vouchers​

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be redeemed for the treatment/s nominated, or the original card purchase value can be used towards your choice of products or services offer by Found.

  • Gift Voucher numbers should be quoted at the time of booking your appointment and presented on arrival.

  • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Please keep your voucher safe as it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

10.  Liability

Liability

Found Skin takes all reasonable precautions to ensure client safety. We are not liable for complications arising from undisclosed medical information or a failure to follow prescribed aftercare. By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge the inherent risks of clinical skin procedures.

11.  Intellectual Property

Intellectual Property

All content, including branding, logos, and website material, is the property of Found Skin. Unauthorised use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
