Laser Tattoo Removal
Here at FOUND, we are specialists in tattoo removal with over 12 years experience. Initially trained in Melbourne, I have worked in New Zealand with government departments, local iwis and the likes, for many years, gaining an excellent reputation and fantastic results from lots of clients.

As this is not regulated in New Zealand, it is important that you have a professionally trained person to carry out this procedure. Due to my skill and expertise including my high end equipment, you will gain the results you are wanting.

Laser tattoo removal is the process of removing a tattoo by breaking up the tattoo ink using a Q-switched laser. The laser works by targeting the pigment in the ink and is a non-invasive procedure.

We use the Nd: YAG laser to remove amateur and professional tattoos. Some colours are easier to remove than others; black and dark green fade easily, while yellow, purple and turquoise coloured tattoos take more sessions to treat.
How many treatments will I need?
You'll need follow-up treatments and recovery time to get that tattoo removed entirely. As a guideline, for homemade tattoos, you may require 2-5 sessions. For professionally done tattoos, you may require 5 or more sessions.
Will it hurt?
It can be a little painful or uncomfortable, but probably not as much as when you had your tattoo initially done. We recommend and can supply a numbing cream that should be applied to the skin an hour before your session.
Do I need to do anything to prepare/before I visit you?
Yes, you will need to shave the area before you visit.
